    I glug mine for weeks before adding a couple of drops every few days so it soaks in and doesn't lose its scent straight away.try techno baits on eBay for a cheaper version of the Korda goo's.

    Iv just bought a Nash dwarf stalker (newer sawn off) rod in 6ft 2lb test curve lovely little rod and packs away to about 2ft.used a daiwa ss2600 with it for some chub fishing handles really well.they do them in a 3lb test as well.£45

    Is there only me thinking how does he hold a rod and a fag in the same hand whilst trotting?wouldnt the fag be in his other hand that would only touch the reel? Any way vinegar and bicarbonate of soda (baking soda)will do the trick,add these to some water and rub into the handle.
