    Barbel on Countryfile last night

    Didn`t the E.A try something similar on the Bristol Avon at Claverton a few years back ? The general consensus locally was that the introduction was at the wrong time of the year for them to have a chance of survival,although that could just be here say and conjecture.

    Anyone caught one yet?

    9 1/2 pounder by 8.30 on the opening day for me, was on the bank by 5am and heading home by 9.00, good start to the season if I say so myself.

    New season, new methods?

    Although it`s probably the norm for a lot of folks it`s going to be all about the Maggots for me this year I think.Definitely feel I`ve neglected them over the last couple of years,Worms too come to think of it.
