    daiwa regal baitrunners still going very strong despite years of abuse ,,and my daiwa ivan marks ledger rod,,burgundy carbon 10 foot,complete with dynaflo eyes and swing tip fitting on tip eye ,,had a proper fixed real seat put on recently but has caught many fish for many years

    3 good sizes lakes on the complex,,set right next to the river graham,,willows everywhere,,the wet and windy winters certainly leave a bit of a mess mate !!

    my local club has a popular carp lake that has a traditional close season,,in the close season the anglers do work parties on the lake and in return get there names in the draw for pegs for the beginning of the season,,if they do 6 work parties they get their name in the hat once,,if they do 8...

    well hatter,my favourite fish are tench,so along with my usual club card I paid to fish another clubs waters that hold bigger tench,nice gravel pits ,am glad I parted with the cash too as have had a few 7,s a few 8,s and a tench of over 9 too,,it was big tench that made me join ,but I love lakes...

    if you want to post a pic then whats wrong with a mat shot,,next to a rod/reel or whatever for reference,,the honest angling folk only wlll want to see a picture of the fish,,and those that rely on everything else but their own watercraft will get naf all from the pic,keep the proper trophy shot...

    you could probably find a 3pc prodigy on ebay,,1.5tc,,nice and light,,ive read negatives on greys rods like most other rods ,but I had good barbell and carp to over 20 on mine,,would still use it now had I not somehow mislaid a section.

    River Reports

    to be honest,theyre called river reports not catch reports,in winter a river report could save someone a long drive and petrol if the river is almost unfishable,so info on levels,debris etc is useful,but obviously no one wants to give away locations if theyre enjoying a good bit of fishing!!:)
