The river Severn at Bridgnorth (I have never blanked) the Wye at Cannon Bridge (again not blanked) the Swale and the Wharfe. Because they are beautiful places to fish. Also the Avon at Stratford. That's fishing for Barbel I have another list for Pike.
I was thinking that if I wanted to use braid I could use a metre of lead core to protect it from any sharp rocks.
I have never done any carp fishing but I have also been looking at the helicopter rig for fishing on the Trent.

I have packed away my Barbel fishing tackle I will be pike fishing now till March. Not had a bad season catching 13 Barbel 3 over 10lb 19 Chub 3 Bream and a Tench.
How's your season going? Mine's a bit mixed - I had 8 Barbel and 4 Chub fishing two days on the river Severn. I blanked fishing two days on the Wye.
I had a nice double barbel and a good sized chub on the Ure the other day.
