on sunday i had a couple over the 2lb mark from a pool some of us on here know. the owner said there have been a few 3lb+ have shown lately.( just a quick add to this) i also had some very nice roach too & the biggest cray ive ever seen.

i was watching one the other evening directly oppsite me feeding, off a dead branch just obove the water, i dived 2 or 3 times before catching, wolloping & then devouring either a dace or a small chublett. it sat for a while preening itself, then noticed another zipping past, then with a load...

so john, do you think my useing a mix of differant size pellets in the feeder (no GB) not a good idea then. i will certainly cut right on them though. thanks too to yo howard, i do have some glugs but never use them enough.

im starting to struggle with baits now as the light goes, usually a couple of 8mm pellets or a small boilie will catch just before dark then for a hour or so into dark its as if the fish change their minds & feed on something else. i know they are there because they show themselves, toppin &...

thanks for that steve, i enjoyed it, it makes a nice change to see somewhere on our doorstep(ish) on the tele. as for the fish-in can you remember my mate phil (the horses) haveing one too many whiskies, i would love to go another one.

i would say say golden rudd & a 2lb is a very good fish too
