Thanks for the reponses chaps :- They don't make the same model Derek - the replacements are leather and thus relatively heavy - and very expensive...! I've got LOWA boots for the winter Mark - but require light and breathable for the summer months ...looking at the Berghaus Explorer...

Thanks Andy! Just to add that the day includes a presentation from Karen Twine of Hull University who, working with the EA, 'chipped' a number of barbel in the River Ouse and then monitored their movements over a number of years - fascinating stuff! Hope to see some of you there...
