Hi Gwyn many thanks for the advice. I fished it hard last week but couldn't get past the eels. Couldn't find a strong enough flow to fish. Then the heavens opened and monsoon rain came through. In the end I blanked.

Hi Gwyn thank you for the feedback. I'm up there this Friday so Im well prepared now. I am going to fish early and then the evening as the heat in the afternoon is a waste of time.

Hi, can anyone please let me know the fishing times for Courtfields and Wyebank before I make a booking. Also what size feeders would I need at p resen?
Many Thanks.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all the positive feedback. It is all most welcome. I feel more confident now.
One other question please. What size cage feeder is best suited for this stretch and would i abe able to use my 1.75lb TC or would I need a 2lb TC rod.
Thanks guys.
Korum rucksack
Hi I'd recommend the Korum rucksack. They are well made robust and come in different sizes. I personally use the one with the insulated bait compartment on top.
Hi everyone,
I've booked two days fishing on the Courtfield fishery for barbel on the river Wye. Can anyone suggest accommodation close by please and does anybody know the gprs coordinates.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
