    Sturgeon - UK

I heard that Witch Lakes was almost a dead cert for a monster sturgeon or cat but you had to pay a premium for it and the stock density was so high I don't know how satisfying it would be. I believe the EA demanded they remove their stock a while back anyway although I don't know if they have...

    Scales????

I used to be really keen on the RH MK2 flyweights but lost all faith in them. The kiss of death was when I weighed the same fish three times and got three slightly different weights! I know people with very reliable sets but I tried a couple in the tackle shop and they gave different readings so...

    Congratulations Keith....

What a fantastic fish and very well deserved. I doubt there have been many bigger barbel ever caught on the stick float, let alone with snow on the ground!

    Rudd

They are indeed the most handsome of species and a photo never really does justice to just how huge a big rudd actually looks on the bank. I've walked many a mile over the last three years trying to locate a few and was lucky enough to catch this new PB on the first day of the season. :)

    Flat Fish

I had a flounder of 1lb 12oz back in 2005 from the Wharfe. I caught it on a lobworm from an area two weirs above the tidal stretch............this is starting to sound familiar. Nice to know the little fella has been peacefully swimming about minding his own business for the past...
