No worries Steve. I shouldn't of tarred all carp anglers with the same brush to be fair. And honestly I would love to catch a river carp... or even a wild canal carp as I don't do pools. Chris.

    New Direction s9 bite alarms

I bought the 2 s9 alarms thinking they would connect to my phone without the receiver but alas that didn't happen🤔 so balls to it I bought the smart bite watch instead, as the receiver look a bit bulky as opposed to a watch! It's just a fail safe for if I ever fall asleep whist fishing plus i...

    Rod for the Warwickshire Avon

I currently use the 2 2.5lb korum barbel rods. I love em lovely action straight through. I did own the 11ft 1.75llb version also that was a cracking rod also. Theres about 4 or 5 rods in the range. They've got them on special at the mo in angling direct. But like Lewis, Graham and Julian said a...

    River tripod

I did look at the sky pod before the korum one. Looks absolutely wicked! And I bet it is too. I do love mine though as I pretty much made it. Had to alter the rear short arm as it was middy stargrip chair thingy bob. I used some 15mm copper pipe and coupler and soldered a female brass thread in...

    River tripod

Christ on a bike!! You were lucky you didn't lose all your gear then! Praise the Lord for bungee cords! Mind you the boats are a bloody nuisance at times especially when they are tanking along at 40 frigging knots. Surprised I ain't seen a jet ski up to yet. Chris.
