I only could afford a preowned MK1 Walton and it came with the obligatory slight play wear wobble.....OK it aint bagged any monster Barbel but its coped admirably with carp to 35.4 and the wobble is still as it was when bought 3 years back...Im a fan
Just maybe if we stopped piling in tonnes of unnatural fertilisers both by way of land drainage and obscene amounts of unnatural baits & additives then just maybe the problem would not raise its head so often...

I originally fished the River Lee in Hertfordshire some 40 years back and the Barbel and Roach were abundant......today we see several large barbel regularly caught....back then the fish were not this big,if they were they obviously did not regularly get caught, there were loads of 6lb to 9lb...
