one rod per licence at a reduced cost with a max of 3 or, buy a normal one with a reduced cost option to add a third. i would be happy with either of them
never had a problem with esp ghost parting on knots, or at all tbh in normal use. well wetted polamor and grinner knots have been fine and landed doubles. not lost a fish to line breaking for years (touch wood)

super glue mate, couple of 6 or 8mm pellets with the hair trapped between them is all thats required.
as for hook link, like you say a lot down to results and personal preference, i may self am doing well with a 4ft...

lots of reports of them snapping too, i snapped one while tightening a knot. nice hook and shape but always in your mind if it will hold out, then the eye issue too...

the new okuma's are not as good as the old ones quality wise. i have had and got old and new interceptors. the new are very poor compared to the old.
have a look shakespears new sigma range :-) should be right in your price range too.

i use my hermes for sending feeders out, they collect from the door and never fail to come. trackable delivery normally about 3 days and never had a problem touch wood.
