2 rods for sale, both custom built by Mark Tunley just under a year ago at a cost of £480.
1) 12ft 1.3/4lb TC, Harrison Dark Carbon Power Specialist
2) 12ft 2.1/4lb TC, Harrison Dark Carbon Xtra Power Specialist
Both rods are constructed on a unique Harrison developed blank Mark...
In the market for a 10ft stalking rod.
Nothing too silly TC wise, just a good river rod for fishing snaggy constricted swims
Much prefer a Harrison quality blank than a mass made alternative.
Anyone thinking of listing a rod or sorting through the garage drop me a PM
Thanks
Andy

Just wondering if anyone uses these reels on the rivers?
I've just took the plunge in ordering a couple of new rods from Mark Tunley (my X-Flite rods will be in the classified sometime soon) and so want something to replace my old 8010GT Baitrunners, something lighter for balance and still...
After a good year away from it for various reasons the rods have been dusted down and I finally got river fishing.
However on my first session it was noticeable how rubbish my river craft and all around technique was.
My casting with a simple free running lead onto a braided hook length...
Evening all,
I've just bought a Drennan Mk 1 Tench rod and also have a Harrison GTI rod that I'd like to get the butt's replaced and proper Fuji reel seats fitted.
Had a look how to do it but reckon I'll just screw it up, would anyone know rod builders or alterers in or around my area...
Looks like I'll finally get my line in the water tomorrow just wondering if any locals know of a good tackle shop in this area....?
Travelling down from Benson, don't really want to deviate too much so need maggots/worms etc within easy reach...
Thanks for any help
Andy
Hello All,

The Thames is on my doorstep, many other rivers easily within an hours reach I reckon, so I'm wondering if anyone in BFW land can point me in the direction of good club stretches or even day...
