    Your favourite Blockend feeders

Thamesly Feeders, I used to buy loads of them at a time and used them on every river I fished. I've still got some of them in the garage in the two sizes. Maggot and hemp on the rivers and still works today when I can be bothered with river fishing. Best two Barbel baits for the feeders for...

    Purists look away

I think lb for lb Carp fight harder than Barbel to be honest and know of a guy who caught a 15lb + Barbel from the Ivel from the meadows on a 16m pole and landed it without any problems. Shimano Beastmaster Margin Pole with a 9lb line, strong hook and Red Hydro Elastic and you can tame most Barbel.

    The Angling Trust.

I just try and look at the positive things that come out of the Trust and not even bothered to do any research on the so called polluter. If you want to go down the double standards route anyone can pick holes in anything they choose and that's when people end up becoming bitter and twisted imo...

    The Angling Trust.

And Thames Water have been taking money from me for a number of years :p Does that mean I shouldn't pay my water bills because I go fishing :D I do a lot of match fishing myself even though I don't enter any matches the Trust are involved with and it don't worry me that they contribute...

End of an era or dawn for change?

If that's the case, then every poster must have an agenda, because forums are for posting messages.

End of an era or dawn for change?

Don't see anyone posting to score points or sniping either, its a forum and posting is allowed and posting about the committee members leaving is not a problem.

    Late Spawning time.??

There be no closed season in years to come. Won't do any harm either, because a lot of rivers are well under fished anyway. Time to open all year round like still-waters and canals.

    The Dave Mason Award.

It's boring, both on here and on fishing magic, it should just keep to its own forum.

End of an era or dawn for change?

I am a Barbel Society member and on my 2nd time round and went to a regional meeting about 5 years ago. I don't have digs at anyone, just say it how it is. Neil I'm not selfish I do my own thing and spend my money how I choose Thanks and that includes not rejoining when my membership expires.
