Rules of the competition.

You may enter the competition if you have caught a barbel in the June 2003 - March 2004 season and have a photo of it.

The prize will be awarded to the angler who actually caught the best barbel.

The best barbel may not necessarily be the biggest.

The closing date for entries into the competition will be 1st April 2004 (approx 2 weeks after the end of the season).

After the closing date, the BFW team (Claire, Andy and the BFW moderators) will judge all entries and choose the top 20 best barbel photos. (This is at the discretion of the BFW team)

The top 20 barbel photos will then be put to the poll on the site for BFW members to vote for the winner.

All photos that are currently submitted to the league table will automatically be included in the competition.

Only one entry per person will be allowed.
