It is situated in a quiet location on the banks of the River Severn in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Severn Valley Steam Railway runs to the rear and the River Severn to the front. 

It is attractively decorated, comfortably furnished and well equipped. Whether you are coming to Shropshire for the fishing, as a steam enthusiast or for a rural holiday with the family, the cottage makes an ideal all year round holiday destination.

Kerne Cottage is situated at Kerne Bridge
four miles south of Ross-on-Wye, famous
for its local Barbel. The river is 100yds away,
with private fishing a quarter of a mile away.
Day tickets are available from the local shop
at Bishopswood. Other Barbel fishing
areas close by are, The Biblins,
Symonds Yat, and the market town of
Ross-on Wye.

Close by Lake fishing is also available,
at Drummonds Dub, and Hartelton which
offers Bream, Carp, Roach, Perch,
Tench, & Rudd.

The cottage has a secure stone shed
available for the storage of equipment.
The Inn on The Wye is 150 yds away
offering excellent food and beer at
sensible prices.

Kerne Cottage comprises of two bedrooms
sleeping 4 people in either two double
beds, or one double bed and 2 singles.
