Hi all just joined the site, I have been Barbel fishing for some years now, mainly on the Ribble, but I have the odd trips to the Severn and Wye, where I have just spent a disappointing weekend at Bredwardine! looking forward to using the Forums!

Welcome Colin,...I'm sure you will pick up a few useful tips on the river reports.
Bredwardine was never a happy hunting ground for me either,...low and clear every time I fished it 8 or 9 years ago..would love to have another go when the river is carrying some colour though.
Can't seem to drag myself away from the Stour and Hamp. Avon nowadays!

Was very hit and miss with some folk catching a few small Barbel with a rapidly rising River on Sunday, decided not to fish on Monday.
