Lightweight waterproof boots?

Sorry for another recommendation request - I've just discovered that the EPO has thrown out my pair of Brasher boots due to the sole hanging off ( i.e easily fixed with Evostick) so a new purchase is required - any recommendations?

Had the same problem, ie sole hanging off with my Altberg boots, local cobbler fixed them for a fiver, should get another 10 years out of them now! My last Brashers probably managed about 12 years before being pensioned off.

They don't make the same model Derek - the replacements are leather and thus relatively heavy - and very expensive...!

I've got LOWA boots for the winter Mark - but require light and breathable for the summer months ...looking at the Berghaus Explorer Light if anyone has experience with them?
