As somenof you know I have been raising funds for The Army Benevolent Fund for the last 5 years which includes the Barbel Challenge recently held. Teresa Parr from the Earl of Harrington angling club is raising money for Fishing For Heroes this season and feel this is a great opportunity to see if we can boost funds by holding a '£2 donation day'. The ABF welfare officers do work with FFH by referring war veterans to them so they are both connected. They are both great charities and when you think what £2 buys you nowadays surely we can get the support - all you will need to do on 3rd October is decide which charity your £2 is going to and then donate direct via the charity pages which will be put up shortly
.
Please please support us and show everyone how great our anglers and supporters are.

The 2 charity pages for our Donation Day on the 3rd October -ARMY BENEVOLENT FUND IS www.justgiving.com/donationday/

Donate just £2 to chosen charity or to both - the choice is yours. Let's make a difference after all what can £2 get you nowadays.

Thanks so much!!

Come on boys and girls please support us with this donation day, all we're asking for is a meesly £2, you cant even buy 1/2 a pint or a packet of hooks with that these days. The more of you that support my self and Teresa with this the more we will raise for 2 fantastic charities thst help our wounded personnel past and present.
What with recent wars in irag, troops in afghan and the current isis situation, our servicemen and women are going to need all the support they can get.
Dig deep please lads :)
