cardinal 55 and carbon clutch

Chris, I use cardinal55 reels, as to be honest, I think the clutch on the reel to be the best of any reel I've used.

I can't honestly see how carbon washer things will make any difference!?!
 
Cris, i have just bought some carbontex washers to convert my shimano technium 10,000s
roy The guy who supplied em to me reckons i will never need any more as they,ll last longer than the reel, if you go to ebay tap in carbontex washers under fishing and you,ll spot his advert, aint cheap but are if they do what he says they will mine cost me £49 to cover 6 spools, if you can ge ones for your 55s i doubt they,ll be anything ike that, roys a real nice obliging guy who also looks after an essex syndicate lake, good luck
