I was big fan and long time user of the old stuff and used it to great effect between 8lb and 15lb depending on conditions and whether I was barbel or carp fishing.
Anyone now using the new Hyper Sensor line with its reduced diameter and other refinements ? Is it any good ? I want a reasonably cheap bulk mono as fishing the Thames I may have to re spool 2 or 3 times a season due to damage.

Hi Duncan,
Been using it this winter for my chub fishing 6lb bs and it seems good ie abrasion resistance,little line twist but no worse than any other and lower diameter so less water pressure.

I'll be using it at 10lb for barbelling next season,hope this helps.

Hi Duncan, been using it for about 5 or 6 months, no complaints from me. When i bought it, these were the cheapest, don,t know if they still are.

Bought a bulk spool at the start of the season. Think it was 12lb. Was a fan of the standard Sensor and no issues with the new one so far.
