Thank you Drennan !!

Whilst getting my gear ready for a trip to the Wye I noticed that the locking block on my many years old Drennan Specialist landing net handle was broken. I called Drennan at about 3.15p.m. and was promised a replacement FOC. This duly arrived through my letterbox at 9.15a.m. the next day. My trip was saved and thankfully the now-restored handle was put to some good use.

I've had some really awful customer service recently from a big company with the initials JL so I wanted to publicise the excellent service from Drennan and just say a big "THANKS" !

Drennan do have a good reputation in general and for customer services in particular David. However, I think they do put extra effort in on this particular part because it has failed so many times. Whether there is a design fault, or as some say, it's just a lack of maintenance on the anglers part, I don't know. But either way, fair play to them.

And a shame about JL, their customer service used to be excellent in the past but is now a shadow of it's former self ! That's if we're talking about the same JL, part of the 'W' group :)
