Big pellets!

Had a bag of 21mm high energy marine halibut pellets sat gathering dust in my bait cupboard and thought I'd use them over the next few weeks. They are very oily so I was wondering if anyone had a rough idea at what water temp these pellets become ineffective?

A mate of mine had a barbel on them when ot was a lot colder than this if that helps lol

Big baits big fish.
You cannot beat a donkey choker.

all the above will do, also cut them in half carefully for smaller pellet

I frequently use a single 22mm pellet on its own as a flood water bait, with some success all through the winter.
