There's a load of old Coarse Angling Today magazines gone on e-bay for anyone who's interested, from issue 4 ( 2001 ) to 50 ( 2005 ) with contributions from some of the top specimen hunters in the country - there's plenty of interest to the barbel angler - including the first 'Barbel Special'

Some great articles in those early editions from the likes of Fred Crouch, Len Arbery, Steve Stayner, Pete Reading, Martin Bowler, Archie Braddock, Tony Miles, Stef Horak, Chris Turnbull, Phil Smith etc.

Some Ribble articles too Clive - Look for Halstead, Edwards and Barnes.

Some classic pieces on the Adams/Kickles barbel from Miles and Church, some great articles on the Wensum from Turnbull. One of them even has an article about rolling meat for barbel by a Mr Walton and there's a few rare words from Mr Lampard ( not Frank )!
