Eel record broken?

Rumours that the Eel record has been broken by an 11lb 8oz fish caught from Grovehurst Fishery, in Kent, by an angler fishing for Carp with luncheon meat!

What next... A 2k a year eel syndicate....
It's a cracking fish.... But never in a month of Sundays is it 11lb+
7 or 8lb maybe, but never 11.

Just read the angling crimes and 7 to 8 would be an over estimate IMO, if its dead its a shame as it will be an old fish.

Certainly a VERY big Eel, but not sure it's that big !!!
I will say no more as I have no experience of REALLY big Eels !!
Steve Terry's fish still looks ENORMOUS !!!
