With the cold weather firmly ensconced I was turning to the idea of float fishing maggots for silvers etc. My question is what line do you recommend for a floating line? Do you just use your normal line but with the aid of an artificial floatant spray etc?
 
I take it you mean trotting for silver fish Brian ?

Can't beat Drennan float fish for trotting ;)

Yes for trotting either stick or avon etc.... Chris Ive seen that Flocast is it as good as it seems?
