Sportex Kevlar rod question

Hi lads does any one know why the sportex Kevlar 11ft 1.5lb tc barbel rods only had 6 guides in total been offered one for decent money never had one just thought it might of had more guides any info would be great.

As you say John, 6 rings was standard for distance carp rods....but this is an 11', 1.5 tc. barbel rod, and I have never seen one of those with 6 rings. Strange one :confused:

One on Ebay search from past also said 6 rings,there are 2 rods for sale on ebay,might be worth a message to the seller to see if its the standard ?.If it is then maybe they were Tench distance rods.
 
maybe they are old carp rods when 11footers wasn,t unusual neither too was 1.5 tc rods for carp, cannot see any other reason for only 6 rings even distant tench rods would be around 12ft these days, all i know personally was sportex were good rods
